Had wanted to go the nearby competitor store but got discouraged by the long queue and live chickens beside and opted to try this one. Such a blessing in disguise. Food came fast amd was really delicious. 3 food items and 2 drinks set us back RM48 but filled us up well. Came here during lunch hour and it's not crowded or warm. Place is clean and spacious. Was suprised to see a 2025 Michelin on the wall as well. Highly recommend.

It’s been a while since I last ate here, and it’s still as good as I remember. Definitely better than the overhyped Heun Kee next door. Auntie is also very friendly. Honestly, I hope the whole Michelin buzz doesn’t ruin our good old neighborhood spots… The place doesn’t have air-conditioning, but it stays surprisingly cool, not the stuffy, heat-trap kind of place.

It's good. I love their rice and chicken. I ordered the Claypot Chicken Rice with drumsticks options. Overall place is nice and comfortable. There was no queue during Lunch time on a weekday. Service is good.

Came at 1pm and easily got a seat. Good looking place. The hot pot was good quality and tasteful but had hoped for more flavor. But still pretty good. Loved the jelly fish. Overall, I was satisfied but would probably try other restaurants first before coming back.

非常好吃,试了就无法自拔。 Michelin Awards Restaurant. It's a family-run place that's been around for generations. The claypot chicken rice cooking process is important because it gives a unique texture and flavour, I should mention the marination of the chicken, the quality of the rice, Chinese sausages, salted fish and their special sauce. Also, the ambience of the shop. Is it clean, cosy, rustic, with very friendly and kind owner&staff. The experience of dining there- sounds, smells, and the sizzle of the claypot chicken rice when it arrives - are great.

Food is excellent, and my friends and I really enjoyed our dinner. Rice is flavorful and chicken parts are succulent. Vegetables are well cooked. Certainly one of the best claypot chicken rice places I’ve tried. Wished I had tried their soups as I saw many tables had soups orders, but there’s always a next time. I just hope it doesn’t get too crowded before I visit again.

Very nice claypot rice made with charcoal fire. The charr is there, chicken is tender. Would recommend the fried bean curd skin as add on. Queue was very manageable too - managed to eat within 30 mins of arrival

Food was absolutely amazing! I went because it’s a Michelin guide restaurant. I was not disappointed. I ordered the chicken clay pot and a lychee drink. The drink was great, perfect amount of sweetness. The clay pot came a little later (understandably). There was so much flavor. Highly recommend!

Chinese food will be my ultimate favourite, is always has been. Since I am little, I enjoy to dine Chinese restaurant whether anot they are restaurant , cafe, street vendors. Who doesn't love a Char Kuey Teow? or Pan Mee? I mean I love them. Even all my years tasting chinese food, I thought I would never find any chinese food to be intrigued or exciting not until I encountered Wan Foong restaurant. Wan Foong restaurant is situated at the most unassuredly location and hard to be discovered but however if you're around Metromall / Chan Sow Lin LRT station, then you're in the right place. So I began how I knew about this restaurant, it comes back from my friend visiting here and I was super hungry, requested him to tag along for dinner. After mile of consideration, we finally went in. They look like any Chinese Restaurant out there, nothing too fancy like fine dinning and all but let me tell you ONE thing, their food is 'DA BOMB" , is absolutely divine. I love it so much. After we sat on the table, this lovely indonesian waiter serve us a menu and honestly I was impressed on how diverse and organised their menu is. They aren't just straightfoward, they have pictures, sets and written in other languages as well. You could even find couples sets here, or family dinning set whether is from 2 person, 3 or 4 or 5 or more. It looks exactly like a fine dinning menu. Anyways, I decided to went for their Curry pork rice and my friend went for their Char kuey Teow set, where it comes a soup and a drink for only RM 10.90. Cheap isn't it? Plus their portion are very satisfying. Not to mention, their food taste exceptionally good, such refine taste. It taste like fine dining but more fulfilling. I love it so much there but then there's only one small issue, is their timing. They took about 45 minutes to cook our dishes, I was a little in rage but let me tell you this, is worth every bite, every penny and every second of it. Definitely would recommend to try their food here, go with their set. it comes with soup and drink, you could always go for their dishes basis with white rice. Enjoy your meal here.
